Our September meeting will be held at Burritt Farm, home of consultant Renee Smith and her husband Brad. They have lived in their 1930s stone home for more than 50 years and over time have transformed treeless fields into lush gardens surrounded by majestic trees. Members are invited to explore the gardens or just sit and relax by the Rideau River. Floral designers are welcome to gather flora from the cutting garden for the annual Flower Arranging Competitions. (Please bring your containers, garden shears and oasis if needed.) Please bring your lunch and a lawn chair. Our hospitality committee will provide refreshments and delicious treats.
