The International Garden Festival is a hotbed of ideas where landscape architects and designers from around the world create new spaces in new ways. Their installations are sometimes full of ideas but free of plants. The 150 gardens of the 16th edition of the Festival provide a body of work to explore what is good and bad in contemporary garden design and the tradition of experimentation that has characterized gardening for centuries.
