Dr. Jessica Forest, an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of Ottawa, will describe her research, which includes the factors limiting wild bee populations, the effects of climate change on pollinators, and the role of wild bees in crop production. She and her students do field work in Gatineau Park, in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and in the agricultural landscapes around Ottawa.
