Richard Hinchcliff will describe how the gardens at the Central Experimental Farm came to be the beautiful Ottawa attraction they are today, with a look at their past and at the people who behind the made-in-Ottawa flowering plants on display.

He is the co-author of the book For the Love of Trees of Ottawa’s Experimental Farm Aboretum, and author of a new book entitled Blooms: An Illustrated History of the Ornamental Gardens at Ottawa’s Central Experimental Farm.
